When I left work about 6pm, SYNC failed!!! :happy feet: With no phone paired to it!! :sing_rain: Nothing worked....no radio, no SYNC paddle, no CD player, no volume control, no ON/OFF button, no dials. Even though everything showed live on the screen. Of course it was too late to go to the dealership, but I called and left a message. :sos: Why am I so happy, you may ask? BTW, about the phone thing, I came from the first Galaxy S phone (Epic 4G) with the slide out keyboard, when I got the Galaxy Note II. I was a big QUERTY guy. The new phone has a stylus, and the handwriting recognition is really, really good. Most times, I can write faster than I used to type. Also, you can dictate emails, texts, and the like. The voice recognition is also quite good. I am surprised that I would actually come to say this, but I stopped missing the keyboard pretty much from day one. ScubaDadMiami Posted June 20, 2013 Report Share Posted June 20, 2013 The GN2 is what they call a Phablet. It is pretty big, which I prefer, between a phone and a small tablet. Hence, the name. The GS4 is a little smaller, if that is your preference. If you get anything, be sure to look at the ProClip Vehicle Mounting System. You won't be sorry with that one. Samsung non-smartphone and have the same issue as you: including one Audio Off freeze-up yesterday afternoon also. Like you, the first time was in warmer weather several weeks ago, but it was also when I tried installing a thumb drive I was given. Not to wish problems on anyone, it's still somehow comforting to see that others are having the same or similar issue. The Focus one looks closest to my problem. I never get any Audio off or any other error message when it happens. The screen quadrants look perfectly normal..........except that nothing works. I'll watch the YouTube vid at lunch.
