moytoyx
My wife's car and she drove more than half the miles on the first tankful with no attempt to maximize FE. Looking forward to even higher numbers as she starts using some of the tips shared in the forum. Edited June 23, 2013 by moytoyx
JAZ
Good show, moytoyx. Just remember: word around here is anyone reporting under 40 mpg will be subjected to scorn and opprobrium and maybe having their MAX keyed. Obviously just kidding
moytoyx
Guess we just made it under the wire. Hope all meanies who might key our SE own SELs with the key FOB instead of a real key ;) to keep damage to a minimum. KAL Cmax

salsaguy
BigAl, what state do you live in?, as weather plays a big part in success/failure to get good mpgs in the cmax it would seem by all the folks here who share their stories of low mileage issues. either that or driving for the first time in a hybrid and getting used to the differences and using the tips/tricks to max your mpgs Edited June 26, 2013 by salsaguy

salsaguy
question..did you top the tank off after you got it from the dealer since you don't know if they really filled it all the way up this you would not know the true mpg if not computed from a full tank.btw, be sure to sign up on fuelly.com so you can track your mileage and share your info with us here. SOMD
Did not top tank off. However went 503 miles on 12.54 gals. At the pump and 11.79 according to the car. Pretty pleased with those numbers.
