Also, look to the sides where the hood hinges go down to connect to the body. This area can get filled up with tree debris and easily cover or clog the drain hole/path. Tom and I have posted about this in a thread he started titled "tree debris". We both had this happen and found the tree junk causing a puddle of rainwater to collect. We each had our dealer clear this out. My service manager told me that having the drain hole/path blocked can result in water getting inside the vehicle (e.g., wet carpet and padding underneath). Adair Posted June 25, 2013 Report Share Posted June 25, 2013 Well, this is cottonwood heaven around here! It looks like snow piling up in the gutters and next to curbs. Hopefully, while Jelly is being disassembled, they will suck out all this tree gunk!!! I'll check tho, when I get him back. Thanks for the info, guys!!! It easily get clogged with debris (leaves, sticks, pollen, etc.). My Cmax gets parked under trees alot. Also, look to the sides where the hood hinges go down to connect to the body.
