If it was a one time fee, or an extra buck or two each year fine. But in Texas, they hit you every year for more than double the usual renewal. Pfft.....no thanks. MadManMoon Posted July 15, 2013 Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 I would have mine already, but Maryland requires you to have the existing plates and vehicle title number before they can issue or even reserve a personalized plate. Pfft.....no thanks.yah but in CA it goes back into the environment protection fund. Worth the money to help save the planet and by driving a CMax helps even more. I love not having to smog Maxus each year, plus CA legislation is considering letting Hybrids back into the HOV lanes.
