pulseox Posted July 24, 2013 Report Share Posted July 24, 2013 When locking all the doors with the remote keyfob- I've noticed that all the doors lock-except the liftgate! The horn only chirps once-no matter how many times I press the lock button. Took it to the delaer today-and after 4 hours they told me- "We don't know how to fix it-we're contacting Ford and will call you when we have an answer." So I can't lock my car. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't have the optional remote tailgate lift-it's just the conventional liftgate. It's a CMax SEL. It's a CMax SEL.I know I wondered the same thing since I could open it very easily when I walked up to the car. So, I did try leaving my key in the house and going out and yes, it is locked. Also, it locks with the rest of the doors when driving and won't unlock until you put the car in park. And the reason I know this is....we were leaving the house and my husband decided that something needed to go in the back, so I stopped the car, he hopped out, but was unable to open the hatch until I put the car in park.
