RickW Posted August 9, 2013 Report Share Posted August 9, 2013 How much did I want a C-MAX? I waited 3 weeks for it. The first week was waiting for the dealer to find one in Ruby Red.The second week was waiting because the Ruby Red one couldn't be sold to me due to the headliner safety recall.The third week was spent waiting because, 30 minutes before delivery, they found that a BCM module had to be replaced, and it would take another week for the part to come in.That car was cursed!So I was thrilled when the dealer said they found a twin car to that one, and I could pick it up today. I have nothing to report except that I pushed a bunch of buttons on the drive home and somehow managed to turn the parking lights on and couldn't turn them off. Do continue to look over your new C-Max in case there is something you overlooked at the dealer - hatch fit, hood fit, door alignment etc................... Now is the time to get all those issues resolved. Have fun getting acquainted, make out the old shopping list for 'add-ons' - lots of good info here on that.
