Laurel
I spotted a ruby red SEL C-Max at another local dealership yesterday and peeked in the windows. Looked nice, but not as nice as my factory order ice storm will be I'm sure <g>. This afternoon took hubby by to have a look. A salesman wondered out to the lot and told me it had arrived just yesterday (when I spotted it) and was sold and gone already. When I found the dealers inventory list for Canada, it seems that at most there are about 5 or 6 C-Max's per Province. I think they are going to sell like hotcakes. Maximus
I'm not surprised. It's just an extremely well thought out and efficiently packaged car (small on outside, big on inside). Judging from my own reaction, and the reaction of others online, it seems once people check out the car, they're sold. C-MAX Hybrid Guide
The C-MAX is the buzz of the auto world right now, so they are hard to find on dealer lots
darrelld
What is the current wait time on an order?
Laurel
When I ordered on Oct.8th, I was told 2 to 3 months. I hope it is sooner.

Ouch, but it is probably due to dealers needing to have some on their lots. The only upside is that Ford will be actively curing any problems found with squeaks, leaks and rattles that are reported in the first batch.
