Adair
Today I am thankful for my family and for friends who are like family, for good health, for a good job. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, 2 extraordinary daughters, the best son-in-law in the world (I tell him that all the time!), a granddaughter who makes me smile just by saying *Hi Grandma! and the best pup ever. My mother and my in-laws and many of our cousins are still with us and in reasonably good health. I have friends all the way back to grade school that I am still in touch with. The company I work for is stable and provides well for the employees. We have a warm, comfortable house and plenty of good food. I am a lucky woman! And I am thankful for each and every one of you, who share your experiences so freely with all of us, enriching our abilities with the car we (most of us, anyway) love. We all continue to learn from each other. It was a lucky day for me when RachelinLA invited me to this site. Have a wonderful day, everyone! ~~ Adair JAZ and ScubaDadMiami

Ponypower
Happy Happy Thanksgiving Adair and all C-max friends. I'll probably see my car in January or February. I have not heard the build date yet. PonyPower
frbill
I too am thankful for many blessings in my life. Where I serve as a Catholic Priest, my family and friends, and the nation in which we live. Thanks also to Adair, as soon as I saw the post I knew who made it, without looking at the poster. Peace, Father Bill
Laurel
Beautifully written Adair. Your warm heart and generous spirit are so evident with what you write. Happy American Thanksgiving to all, and Happy Hannukkah too. We had our Thanksgiving last month, but I am sorely tempted to make another turkey dinner on Sunday. Yum. fotomoto
BURRRRRRRRP! zzzzzzzzzzzzz SNORE zzzzzzzzzzzz SNORE zzzzzzzzzzz Huh? Did someone say something? I had a good case of triptophan overdose because I made the best turkey I've ever done (and I don't care for turkey!). My daughter AKA Miss Picky Pants even asked for seconds which is the ultimate compliment for me. I used a new cooking gadget/early Christmas present: a Char-Broil Big Easy "oil-less" frier/cooker. I made it cajon style with spices and a coating of peanut oil and it turned out beautifully. I didn't take a pic of it but here's one of a chicken I prepared and cooked the exact same way except for the russets on the bottom: We had a great Thanksgiving and hope ya'll did too! :wub2: Adair
