HPRifleman
This week I brought my C-Max to the dealer for a number of service actions like the automated rear hatch sensitivity and the fuel mileage recalibration. Afterwards I noticed that the One-Touch Up feature for the windows does not work any more. The strange thing is that this works on both rear windows but not on the front windows. The windows will open with one touch but lifting the switch upward and releasing it will only close the windows automatically on the rear windows. Anyone have a solution or can tell me what I am missing?
ceemax71
One-touch up is disabled if the battery has been disconnected. To re-enable it, you have to do the power window initialization procedure: Start the engine. 1.Lift and hold the window control switch until the door window is fully closed (up position).2.Release the window control switch.3.Lift and hold the window control switch again for at least one second.4.Press and hold the window control switch until the door window is fully open (down position).5.Release the window control switch.6.Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed (up position).7.Test for correct window operation by carrying out the one-touch down and one-touch up features. HPRifleman
Thanks, that worked great. Just a note that I had to follow that procedure for each window. That is, the set of initialization steps had to be done for the driver's window and then repeated for the passenger window.
