evcharging
Hi,I would like to invite members of the Ford C-Max Hybrid Forum to contribute to a research project aimed at better understanding the charging decisions of plug-in vehicle drivers. The survey should take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete, and is open to US plug-in vehicle drivers aged 18 and over. You can read more about this work below, or begin the survey immediately by going to:evcharging2013.surveyanalytics.com Purpose: The goal of this work is to understand how various factors affect drivers’ decisions on when and where to charge their plug-in vehicles. This is important for developing charging infrastructure, evaluating vehicle-grid interactions, and setting public policy related to plug-in vehicles.Who should participate? Anyone age 18 or older in the US who regularly drives a plug-in electric vehicle (all-electric or plug-in hybrid). Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw from the survey at any time. How long will it take? Between 5 and 15 minutes. What information do you collect? We will not ask for any personally identifiable information. You will be presented with eight hypothetical situations. In each situation, you will indicate whether or not you would choose to charge your vehicle if you encountered this situation in the real world. We will also collect some basic demographics, and information on your vehicle and usual charging habits. How to participate: Visit our website at evcharging2013.surveyanalytics.comQuestions: This survey is managed by Dr. Don MacKenzie (UW Civil & Environmental Engineering) and Dr. David Keith (MIT Sloan School of Management). To help us respond most effectively, please send any questions to evcharging2013@gmail.com.Thanks,David. fotomoto
David, Getting folks to volunteer to do anything is tough so you shouldn't put even the smallest of hurdles in front of them. Your links aren't "clickable" and must be copy/pasted to navigate to the survey. Also, you label traditional hybrids such as the Prius as HEV's (hybrid electric vehicles), ask when the first one was purchased, and then what specific vehicle it is from a drop down list; however, that list only includes BEV's and PHEV's but not HEV's. Very confusing. Finally, you would be better served to post this on the Energi forum instead of here on the hybrid forum since these folks don't charge. http://fordcmaxenergiforum.com Survey is quick and not tedious. :clapping: Edited December 13, 2013 by fotomoto
