Jay DeZinno
I'm taking delivery of a new 2013 white platinum SE this afternoon. I'm getting an awesome deal on it and trading in my 2012 Focus hatch that I absolutely love. Problem is the focus got too small for my family and I keep hurting my back. When I do I can't get in and out of the focus because it's too low.The dealer has to replace the 12v battery because it's been sitting so long. Apparently that is a common problem. Car has MFT and the winter package. I sure am going to miss the Sony system in the focus. One question though. The car does not appear to have a cargo cover. Can anyone confirm if that is standard? The dealer said if it's not on the window sticker they don't have to include one. Is there any ford publication that says it is? Edit: After thinking about it for 5 hours this morning I felt that what I lost from the focus to the C-Max does not justify the marginal increase in mileage. I'm going to stick with my focus for a while. Edited July 23, 2014 by Jay DeZinno
JAZ
While I'm no spokesman for Ford, I cannot imagine selling a new Max without the cargo cover included.
shinytop
When you do decide to buy find another dealer. The car absolutely comes with a cargo cover. I have bought used SUV's and they always are missing the cover. Found that dealers will sell covers from the used cars. They bring up to $350 bought from a dealer, 200 if bought from EBAY. I would not give that dealer another chance. LizM
