mtb9153
not sure that would fly with the insurance companies? Seems logical if technology works the way it should by locating the CMax by satellites.
Louder North
suSince we can see where the car is has anyone asked or received a discount from their insurance company, since it is similar to Lojak . I am insured with "The Co-Operators" in Canada and they offer 'en-Route / DriveSync' as the platform for their GPS tracking - I do get a discount. Think it was 15% last time I looked. I can log into the en-Route web site and see where my car has been, how it has been driven, how fast it went and also vehicle health. In fact, it reports that my car is 'overcharging' the battery (15 volts) and I should get it looked at.... I think this is normal for a hybrid and I'm not worried about it. obob
WNY
I noticed the charge voltage in the car when running the values on the ScanGauge is 14.6 - 14.8 volts. so you're prolly good. Louder North
