NewMaxDriver
I mentioned this in another thread, but thought I would open a new topic here. I have the SE model and I have noticed that when I have the headlamp switched to on (not auto) the headlamps go off immediately when I turn the ignition off. I would prefer if the lights would stay on until I switch them off. Does anybody know if there is a way to adjust this?

On my SEL there is a setting on the right info screen that controls lights off delay. It was defaulted to no delay.
CNCGeek
I think it is there on the SE as well, I recall seeing it when I was playing with the menus on the left side screen, there were settings for adding delays like 20, 60, 90 seconds or something like that. It was under info>lighting. The timer starts once the doors are locked I think. UPDATE, I was wrong about where the settings were. They are under Settings>Vehicle>Lighting>Home Light. That is where the delay can be set for Manual, 20sec, etc. Edited November 11, 2012 by CNCGeek andeeca
NewMaxDriver
Update:I spent some time on the phone with Ford and according to them this behavior is not normal. They suggested I take it to the dealer to have it checked out. So now my question to all you SE owners is "Does your car do the same thing"? CNCGeek
Did you look to see if the delay is set for anything? Note that I updated my post above which describes how to find the settings on the left side menus.
