Hedgeley
HI from the Great White North!New to this site. I was getting tired of filling up two cars that guzzled gas, and ended up buying a 2013 C-Max SEL with 30,000Km (about 20,000 miles for the metric challenged).Love the car especially the colour (White Platinum) and interior toys. A few troubles, but nothing earth shattering.Anyway. The dilemma.I was looking for some different Rims for this beast to dress it up a bit and look somewhat unique. After weeks of research on Tire Rack, American Racing, etc. I think I've found what I really like, The Dilemma? This Wheel (BBS SR) comes in two colours - Anthracite Painted or Machined with Matte Graphite Accent. SURVEY - which do you think would look better? The Anthracite is $30 per wheel cheaper, but that's not really an issue.I'd like to see the wheels in person, but no one around here (Hamilton ON) seems to have stock. One of them even tells me they order from Tire Rack! Thanks!Hedge Here's the Link... http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?filterSize=17&filterFinish=All&filterBrand=BBS&filterWeight=All&autoMake=Ford&autoModel=C-MAX+Hybrid&autoYear=2013&autoModClar=SEL&sort=Brand&filterNew=All&filterSpecial=false
ptjones
I like the more expensive one's, but still would rather find some solid one's to improve mpg's instead of using wheel covers. IMO :) Paul

I'd go with the Anthracite. Would look great with the Platinum White. I have the same color CMax but can't afford BBS. Either way it is going to look awesome.

Price isn't to bad. Thanks kostby :) Paul

Hedgeley
Thanks Guys Anthrax it is!! Sorry, Anthracite. Shouldn't really joke about anthrax I guess. Cause it's white, not "coal like" at all. Besides, wheels made of Anthrax would have to be either really soft or powder coated. ANd you;d have to wear a space suit to clean them. Uh.. And oh yeah, I find it odd that you would colour something made of Aluminum Alloy with something that`s used to make steel. Maybe Bauxite coloured? Then they could be grey. Or white or...  Never mind. :banghead: Now to find a place up here in Ontario that can give me a decent (reputable) price and installation. Any you Canucks got a favourite place ? I'm in Hamilton, not too far West of Toronto. Maybe worth it to get from the USA
RobMax
Be aware of the weight on any wheels other than stock. BBS makes good stuff but some of their wheels are heavier than stock, which will affect driving dynamics such as acceleration, braking distance, handling, etc. It might be a small difference, and hopefully not noticeable, but figured I should mention it just in case. Disregard if your BBS choice is lighter than stock! LOL
