Brad Stevens
My wife and I got our new C-Max Hybrid SEL on 30 August, after researching online ever since we test drove one at a Drive for Your School in the spring. We had wanted to drive something that we wouldn't actually be interested in. Then we couldn't stop thinking about it. I've always had something sporty, even a couple of muscle cars, but was ready for something new and with better fuel economy after my 2004 Sunfire started averaging a couple hundred a month for repairs. The C-Max is our first SUV type car but satisfies our desire for a touch of luxury and a kick of sporty. And now I'm old enough that I want to be comfortable, too! Mine -- ours ;) -- is Sterling Gray Metallic with the panorama roof. I'd have never wanted that roof, but it was on the lot with everything else that I -- we ;) -- wanted. I look forward to the information a forum community can share! ScubaDadMiami and C-MaxSea
shinytop
You got the best color! Once I saw the sterling gray I was not interested in any other color. Had to drive 270 miles to get the color and options I wanted.
Adrian_L
They just discontinued Sterling Grey, FYI. I thought it looked great in the brochure but ended up buying a Tuxedo black from the lot. No regrets. (well only one---I'd have preferred the cash instead of the (useless to me) "remote start" feature but it was already on there) Edited September 9, 2014 by Adrian_L

Brad Stevens
Welcome! Sorry, but I have to ask: are you any relation to the coach of the Boston Celtics?http://boston.sportsthenandnow.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/BSC82913.jpgThanks! No relation. At least not to my knowledge. Maybe connected many generations back?
Brad Stevens
By the way, while we didn't really want the panorama roof, especially living in Central Florida, the shade keeps it remarkably cooler that I'd have imagined. I don't think that it is much warmer than the ceiling/headliner of a regular roof sitting in the sun.
Kelleytoons
Central Florida? You didn't buy at Sun Ford by any chance? While we live in Leesburg we happened to buy our C-Max there because we were dropping friends off at the airport and looking at cars on the way back. Glad we did -- had a *wonderful* salesperson there.
Brad Stevens
Central Florida? You didn't buy at Sun Ford by any chance? No. There's a Jarrett Ford about four miles from home. We started online and worked with one of their online sales people. It was a really good experience.
RockwallRick
Sounds familiar?? Is that the Ford Dealer located by I-4 and Hwy 27?? We stopped by there once to look at some cars but we bought ours at our local dealer in Lake Wales.
