mtb9153
Ha! don't I wish anything that's an improvement from my usual low to mid 40's and I'm happy. Just wish I could rack up some 50's or 60's but that's a pipe dream I'm afraid.

mtb9153
just might do that sometime if it could be planned for all parties to be available. "Help me Obi Wan Kenobi your my only hope" for mpg greatness. Sorry a little Star Wars humor :worship:
Jus-A-CMax
I'll take you on my morning drive route and see how you do on it. Lets see if its the driver or the car....no worries, when you get here. Eventually. mtb9153
mtb9153
I'm pretty certain it's mostly the driver's fault, I still have much to learn Obi Wan :worship: Edited September 17, 2014 by mtb9153
mtb9153
Had a surprise the other day when I saw 95.4 MPG shown in the screen after a short trip. Must have been a glitch? Kelleytoons
I know this is a *bit* OT but just came back from a 54.5 mile trip to Orlando and I had the air on (only about 75 but it was 82 outside) and was going at least 70 most of the way and I averaged 47.4 mpg (yeah, I know the read out isn't completely accurate but still...) That's pretty amazing for me -- even without air we've been lucky to get in the low 40's on our Orlando trips this winter (we don't need heat, natch). I have to figure it was like a perfect storm of conditions -- just warm enough without being too warm, and perhaps going just fast enough without being too fast (although for long portions I was driving nearly 80mph -- but for equal portions I was only going 60+). Weird. ptjones
RockwallRick
I am pretty sure that I could get 50 mpg out of this car! My Wife is averaging 44 mpg without even trying!!

Smiling Jack
I would say that this is comparing apples to oranges, but it's really more like crab apples to grapefruits. Well............., would you believe ............. blueberries to watermelons? (Sorry about that, Chief!) ptjones
