ptjones
Need help testing CMAXs to determine the actual operating temperature range of Transmission Fluid for City and FWY driving. I have a ScanGaugeII that I could loan for short period of time to monitor Trans, Water and Intake temps to log down. Also here is a link to a company that makes inexpensive Engine and trans monitor. http://www.ksolution.org/outdoor/enginelink.htm If we get enough people to take part we will be able to come up with an average and what temps could be a sign of a problem. Members can PM me if they are interested. Hopefully this will help members with potential Trans problems down the road. :) Paul
SnowStorm
Paul - Here's the correct link. I want to get into monitoring so would be glad to help out once I decide which way to go with the OBD-II interface and device (might be iPad mini or Android phone). Would like to end up with a system that can monitor all the Ford special PIDs or whatever - need to get more educated on the options.
