stevedebi
Be aware that if the car is dead, the rear hatch cannot be opened; the latch is electric. (Note, emphasis mine)10 x 8.1 x 2.6 inches, that might fit under the driver seat in the floor?

Bugblndr
The unit itself would fit in one of the bins under the rear floor mats, but when in the case with all the attachments it does not. No big deal either way. If I can get into the car, I can very easily open the storage compartment in the hatch with the hatch closed. I tried and made sure. ;) I did make use of it tonight as a flashlight. It worked quite well lighting up the area so I could finish installing my new Curt trailer hitch in the dark. Kelleytoons
I have stowed mine in the net on the left (the right net holds the first aid kit). And, yes, easy to get to even if the hatch won't open (also because I can see it I remember to check the charge periodically).
