RachelnLa
Dad and I are hitting the road back to the dealer who was willing to haggle. Hoping to haggle some more and get a great black Friday car! If not, we will hit a few dealers close by. Wish us luck.
Laurel
Best of luck Rachel! I hope to have pictures of The Ice Princess (TIP) within the next week or so. Let us know how you make out and have a safe drive.
RachelnLa
A week? Eeeek. How do you sleep?? Lol. Thanks. I am so enjoying this time with my dad. Guess it shouldn't surprise him of my interest in hybrids. I was also the kid who watched football with him. Middle child syndrome I guess. Laurel
Did you have turkey and all the trimmings today with your dad? I just watched the news and there was a horrific traffic accident somewhere in Texas--caused by a fog bank so take it easy on the road. RachelnLa
Yes, we all went to my sisters. Dad did an oil less fried turkey and it was so good. Lots of food, fun and new memories. My sister had a baby in August after 18 yrs of trying and adopting 2 kids. Yes, my family would make a great sitcom. Hmmm, haven't heard about that. I am in southwest Louisiana- 50 miles up from the gulf and about 45 miles from the tx border. We were hit hard with hurricane Rita. Never wanna go thru that again. Oh and my 92 yr old grandmother was there too. We ate too much and laughed too much.
RachelnLa
I googled. That is a stretch of road we will be traveling. Really bad pile up. Two people died. Lots of semis in the pileup. I see ambulances from my town helped out. Very scary.
