SCrowley12 Posted April 1, 2016 Report Share Posted April 1, 2016 Garage kept 2015 C-Max Hybrid, 12,456 miles. I turned on the car to go home last night and the car shook violently and a weird sound came from underneath the dash. I turned off the climate control and it stopped. I was at the dealership first thing this morning. They found a rat's nest of clean insulation blocking the blower motor. (photo attached) Service said this is the 3rd C-Max they have seen, with over 10,000, that had the same problem. They cleared it out and all is well.
