raadsel Posted May 2, 2016 Report Share Posted May 2, 2016 Really need more information? Is this a new noise or has it basically been there since you bought the car? Is it just "normal" engine sounds or is it a different type of noise? For example, if it is just something like loud but relatively normal engine noise, it could just be something as simple as the "rubber band effect" caused because the car has a CVT. DID Posted May 4, 2016 Report Share Posted May 4, 2016 I get a woofing sound when my 2013 C Max Starts up the engine some times when the car is under electric power. usually after 40 miles an hour. it stops this sound after the engine is started and is starting to pull the load of the car I ask the Tech Manage at my dealer about this noise and he said that it is normal to have that sound as it is how the engines starts up at a higher than normal RPMs. if the sound is contentious I would consult your Ford service department for possible causes.
