coolfords Posted May 21, 2016 Report Share Posted May 21, 2016 Hi Ive had my 2013 since Dec 2015. For the most part its been fine. I have a few things I wish were better on the car. Like the floor heat, the Sony radio sounds terrible (no bass) etc. As most of you guys may or may not know, its been pouring rain for a while in the Houston area. lol So I have been driving my truck. The Cmax has been sitting. Well I got in it the other day to run down to the store. As soon as I pushed the start button, it felt like the engine was going to jump out of the car. It smoothed right out and everything seems okay. Its just that initial start up. It doesn't do it every time. I noticed this a couple of other times to. agilix Posted May 27, 2016 Report Share Posted May 27, 2016 My 13 SE since late March just did this couple times this week, also after a few days idle. Perhaps the engine needs to refresh every now and then, if it does not run for a while? The other annoying thing I noticed is that when I start the car, especially in the morning, I sometimes can hear stat noise from the front, like plugging in a electric heater if you know what I mean.
