Jimmy Fett
Hello all,I'm new here and new to having vehicle with this many bells and whistles. I bought a used 2013 C-Max Energi and am completely in love with it. The young lady who owned the car before me had abysmal numbers sporting an average MPGe of 35 and change. A little over 12k of the 53k miles were EV so I'm thinking there were some lead footed highway miles mixed in there. I've driven like a grandpa for a number of years and have improved on her numbers considerably but I'm noticing that the numbers are trending up on the same route over my admittedly short test cycle. Is it that the car is learning my route or that I'm learning to drive the car more efficiently? In any other car I would take credit but I have the uneasy feeling that the EV+ mode is going to start calling me Dave and icing crew members. Jimmy Fett
Sorry, I thought I was in the Energi forums. I'll post over there but if anyone has guidance I'm all ears.
Marc Smith
I believe, at least in the cmax hybrid, the ev+ only affect the last half mile or so... my numbers actually went up when I turned it off..
