lambofgood
I purchased a 2017 Ford CMax Energy in April of 2017. Since that time I have had 4 windshields replaced due to rock chips while driving. I have also had 2 additional chips repaired. Is anyone else having this issue. I think there is a design flaw with the aerodynamics.
plus 3 golfer
I've had the windshield replaced twice on my 2013 in 5 years of ownership. Both times the rock hit about 2/3 up on the passenger side and about 6" from the right edge.
ptjones
I have also had 2 windshields replaced in 176K mi./5.5yrs. What would aerodynamics have to do with windshield chips? I do drafting about 100 ft. back and not having a significant problem. :headscratch: On a side note here south of Atlanta today roads snow packed and 17*F. Friend of mine in Rochester said it was 32*F, what happened to Global Warming when you need it. :) Paul
AZgman
Come to AZ... windshields get replaced at a very high rate here due to all of the rocks found in the desert. So far, only a minor chip in my windshield, but I have had the windshield replaced at least once on every car I have owned since moving here.
