While I'm still not fond or Ford's general fit and finish build quality for the cmax, I do like the way the cmax drives and feels, so hoping it'll serve us well for at least 5 years! I love my NRGTi, but there are sloppy, visible welds and mismatched interior seams that would horrify a designer from VW. Volkswagens (and I had many) got the small details so right, but they often failed at the big ones, like reliability and economy. That's what the C-Max does so well: providing transportation that's economical, eco-friendly, comfortable, capable and sporty.
