conrail
my C max, 64 model is going back to the dealers for the 3rd time in as many days, 1st for full service and 2nd MOT, due to their mix up the MOT had to be cancelled and the car returned to them for MOT, again a mix up meant I picked the car up at 5:30pm having failed the emissions test, girl said she could not let me take it away having failed MOT, as I live 25 miles away I asked if I was getting a courtesy car or was she putting me up, she agreed to let me take the car, I then informed her the current MOT has 2 weeks to run so the failure was not a problem for me to drive, but annoyed that I have to go back a third time, I have two questions? how long does the emissions test take, and why isn't the emissions part of the service? all help and advice appreciates so I have an idea on how long I will be waiting tomorrow
ptjones
Emissions test shouldn't take more than 15 -20 min., you didn't say where you are having it done. You don't have to take it to the Dealer. :) Paul
