jmckinley
In almost all the displays (my view, engage, empower, inform) it shows the Lifetime MPG along with the other information. I like those displays, but would prefer to show Trip 1 or Trip 2 MPG instead. Has anyone figured out how to do this?
C-MaxJaxon
I believe it shows the current average, which is different from lifetime average. Before I drove off the lot after delivery, I reset the current average but not the lifetime average. They now show two different values. AgentCMAX
The Trip 1 and Trip 2 info screens do show the respective MPG info for each trip data. Are you asking how to get those screens to display? Or are you asking if there is a way to display trip MPG info in the other screens? If it's the later, then I don't know if that is possible. FoutsNC
C-MaxJaxon hit it on the head. The Avg MPG displayed in the different views is not the lifetime MPG, that's the Average for that display since it was reset. To reset that average, hold the left OK button down while you are on the Avg MPG display screen (the one where's it's by itself), and you will see a little reset meter go across and it will reset. This will not reset the lifetime or trip averages.
jmckinley
FoutsNC, that's interesting. Didn't remember seeing that in the owner's manual. I'll give it a try tomorrow.
jmckinley
Thanks guys. While in "Empower" I held down the "OK" button and it reset the avg. mpg on Empower, Engage and Inform screens. Glad I discovered this - it means we really have 4 different averages we can track - Trip 1, Trip 2, Lifetime and this one. Temporarily happy now. If the mpg would just creep up above 40, I'd really be happy. World Peace would be nice too. FoutsNC
