andeeca
I'm just wondering if this is normal, or latch not working correctly. We have the manual tailgate and the key fob has a button to unlock it. I push the button twice and the door pops slightly open, but is still caught by the latch. I don't understand what that feature would be for because it's no different than using the car unlock button because you still have to hold the handle to disengage the latch to open it. Am I missing something? RachelnLa
Michigan Max
When I use the key fob button, it unlatches the hatch completely and I can grab it anywhere to open it. andeeca
roninsd
My fob does the same. It does seem like a wasted/duplicate function button. andeeca
andeeca
Hi roninsd, are you saying it's the same as mine (only opens partially), or the same as Michigan Max's (completely unlatches)?
roninsd
It only unlocks/unlatches, like yours, and then I have to open up the door. Easier just to unlock/open it manually. andeeca
jem
Mine opens completely after pushing the button 2X. It gets stuck and only unlatches about 1 out of 40 - 50 times of use.
