Lacienega Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Share Posted June 23, 2020 I believe I finally found the problem. After it randomly didn't open ... I had the door trim off for some month to get access from the inside just in case the liftgate would not open again. So, one day when it was dead again, I went inside the car through the rear door and moved around all the cables on the liftgate that I could see while using the remote key fob and pushing the trunk release...and voila! The liftgate opened. It seems like the connector had some connection trouble. I sprayed some W40 inside and had no more problems since then.
