Bill-N Posted February 5, 2015 Report Share Posted February 5, 2015 SSM 44863 - 2010-2015 Multiple Vehicles - Flutter/Turbulance Noise At Highway Speeds With Rear Windows Or Moon/Sun Roof OpenSome 2010-2015 Vehicles may exhibit a flutter/turbulence noise (helicopter noise) at highway speeds when rear door window(s) or sun/moon roof are open. This condition is a characteristic of the vehicle body design and is also a characteristic of competitive vehicles with a similar body style. This condition can be reduced by lowering either one, or both, of the front windows at least 2 inches. No service action is recommended for this condition.
