  1. A team of drivers from the media got an outstanding 60 mpg in a first drive "hyper-mile" competition with other media drive teams driving the new 2013 C-Max Hybrid this week. Ford Motor Co. has been introducing the new 2013 C-Max Hybrid to media this week in Los Angeles. As part of the introduction, journalists were invited to team up and see how fuel efficiently they could drive the C-Max Hybrid in a test drive from West Hollywood to near Malibu. View slideshow: 2013 Ford C-Max EPA rated at 47 mpg: first drive gets 60 mpg The approximately 50 mile hyper-mile route covered all types of Los Angeles area road and traffic that one might expect to experience in everyday driving of the 2013 C-Max Hybrid. http://www.examiner.com/article/2013-ford-c-max-epa-rated-at-47-mpg-first-drive-gets-60-mpg
  2. The first review is in: The C-Max Hybrid test drivers get 60 MPG! http://www.examiner.com/article/2013-ford-c-max-epa-rated-at-47-mpg-first-drive-gets-60-mpg
  3. I was reading that some analysts were disappointed with these results as they were brought down by a weak Europe and overseas market. At the end of the day though, Ford is doing great considering they didn't get any help from the Gov.
  4. I agree. The ads on Navigations are OK, but the built in ones seem to offer far more features. Another option is using the one built into your smart phone or downloading the app. They have a really nice one for the iPhone, but I think the 4S has one built in out of the box.
  5. Ambient lighting is OK if you can turn it off. On the Fieata, you could change colours, but not disable it. GRRRR.
  6. I've checked all of the dealers in Orlando and found zero - zip - zilch. Maybe I did something wrong?
  7. None at all. That stuff is too sticky - every grain of dirt seems to cling to it.
  8. I wonder if one of the sounds is of a car jacking (it's detroit). :P
  9. I'd have to see the C-Max first, but I would go with either Silver or the Ink Blue found on the Ford Edge.
  10. :D I getted a little stressed just preparing for a trip. Once I get there, I'm all good until the day before I have to leave for home again. Not so much when I'm driving somewhere, because I can always stop. It's when I go to Europe that I bug out.
  11. @ Kam-- I think some gasoline will still be around, but most people will drive alternatively powered vehicles within the next 20-30 years. :P
  12. I think the prices of the hybrids need to drop in price dramatically, to draw a larger crowd. Once consumer's have an option for hybrids at a lower cost than gasoline cars, modern vehicles will disappear from the market quickly.
  13. I'm excited to see that hybrids are beginning to become more and more affordable. Hopefully all the gas guzzlers will be off the road within the next 20 years!
