Just read this entire thread and didn't see the answer to whether or not the 3.51 update is required first. If it is, does anyone have a link to the earlier update. I screwed up the one I downloaded from the MFT website and now the only option is to report success to Ford.

I downloaded the update, then screwed it up on my computer. Now I can't see a way to download it again. The only option is to "Confirm Update." Can any of you help me out. Thanks.

What cool hidden feature have you discovered about your C-Max?

Nothing happens when I step on the "gas" pedal

An update from the guy that started this thread... I went to the car to get my sunglasses and figured I'd give it another try. Everything worked fine. I'm thinking I made the mistake that JohnnOhio describes above. In my case, though, I could shift into both forward and reverse, but nothing happened in either case. BTW, I called the dealer's service department and the advisor said he had seen it before. Said there were two possible causes. One was a fuse. Don't remember the other. -

My 3-month old C-Max has been great...until this morning. Got in the car, pressed the start button and the dashboard lit up. But when I shifted into reverse and stepped on the gas, nothing happened. I've called the dealer, but everyone's tied up. Have any of you heard of this? I'm hoping it's a simple fix...like a computer that needs to be rebooted.

The other day I had my new C-Max in the garage and was working to teach myself the entertainment system. Every once in a while a loud fan would start up. It puzzled me since the gas engine wasn't running. Can one of you fill me in on what was going on? Thanks. Oh, one more... If I left the car the horn would beep. What's that all about?

I'd like to be able to connect my Nexus 4 Android phone via USB and have access to all its music and podcasts. Seems pretty straightforward, but I can't get it to work properly. I get a message on the MFT screen that says "indexing" and then a message that says "loading," but never get to a point where I can actually listen to anything. Have any of you had better luck? Am I doing something wrong?
