Using NAV With Phonebook Addresses?
AMSDPS replied to ScubaDadMiami's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
What phone are you using? The iPhone puts the country into the address and I don't think that MFT likes it, so it gives you an error saying that it is the incorrect format. I haven't found a workaround, but I have over 300 contacts in my phone that I use for work, a handful of them work, but I can't figure out why those work and others don't. If you find out, let us know! -
We had good luck with the saris gran fondo. Plus it's made in the US

Same here. Update was simple on Mac OS. Just requires a little patience.

Also beware of installation. I just had mine repaired, they had one guy do the install, but because the windshield ducks down under the hood a little bit, he lost controll and scratched the h*$& out of my pillar. Luckily the place that replaced it also owns a body shop and they fixed everything, but I would ask that two technicians do the install. They told me that Carlite was the only option they would consider and that it was an expensive piece of glass because it was so new.

Can someone explain how to do this? I can turn mine off temporarily, but I am looking for a way to disable it until I change the setting again.

Got mine upgraded Tuesday. Took an hour and a half for the upgrade plus oil change. Super simple. I do like the new software. I feel like it is closer to how the car is supposed to operate. I don't know how much I will use the hybrid display, but in general the software seems faster and less buggy.

Yeah, I had to go into iPhoto and manually edit that one. I read up on it, and it sounds like if you take the photo with the iPhone vertical (portrait mode) it will be right side up, but in this instance I had the phone on its side and snapped the picture with the volume button. Anyways, let me know if you are interested in this rack, it's only been used a handful of times!

Yeah, it was taken with an iPhone, is that a known issue or something? Let's try this again. Incidentally, my new hitch rack came in today, so this rack is not for sale on the cheap if someone is interested.

hmm, I wonder why the picture is upside down?

If anyone is looking for a descent rear rack for the C-Max, that doesn't touch the frame of your bike. I tried out the Saris Gran Fondo yesterday and it did a pretty good job. The hardest part was the initial assembly, but in terms of a "trunk" rack, it was far better than those carrying the bike horizontally. The strap placement on the C-Max is pretty easy on top and bottom, the side straps almost need a slightly different angle to them though. If you are looking for the ultimate in security and stability while riding, you still can't beat the tray style hitch rack, but this did in a pinch until my new Kuat rack comes in!

I still find it to be easier than the web version with all of the ads.

Forgive me if someone has asked this already, but does anybody know how to default to the mobile version of this site on an iPad? I'm on my computer right now, but often times when I am lounging around, I like to read the forums on my iPad and the mobile version is so much faster. RIght now, I have to scroll to the bottom of the page and manually click on "Mobile Version" every time I go to the site. Thanks!

Ours works with a graco snug ride 30, but I have to move the passenger seat up slightly or just put the setback upright.
