Zhackwyatt... It's driver side by the very small window.. The dealers going to fix it... But they are currently trying to fix an electrical fault/failure.

The Dealer Service computer shows wiring issues going to my hybrid battery.. So my car is currently being torn apart.. According to them it's a safety issue.. A wreck could lead to first responders being zapped by the hybrid battery.

Currently sitting at a Ford dealer while my car is being torn apart for an electrical fault/failure.. According to the service department it's a safety issue.. The hybrid battery could "zap" first responders if I were to have a wreck.. An air bag/wiper issue doesn't sound that bad right now.

Went to start my C-Max a few hours ago and was greeted with a red triangle and "stop safely now" message.. After 5 attempts, the car started and the message disappeared and hasn't popped back up. Owners manual points to an electrical component fault/failure. The manual doesn't say to take any type of action. Has anyone else experience this?

My dash is coming undone.

A guy approached my at the YMCA and asked how I liked my C-Max.. I told him i liked it, but was having some electronic issues. His response "I'm the Long Lewis Ford service manager, bring it on in". I don't think I will have any dealer issues in the future.

Mine was misaligned on the left side. Initially my local dealer didn't want to touch it since it was a new model and they didn't have any info about the cars structure. So I waited a few weeks, went back, and they made adjustments.

I love the seats... The sitting position is very close to my old Honda Element. Two months ago we took a trip that resulted in 7 hours of driving and afterwards no back issues.

Mine is random...sometimes one kick, other times 4 or 5 kicks.. People stare at you when you appear to be kicking your car.

It seems like a lot of us had the same vehicles on our shopping list before driving off in the C-Max. "CNCGeek" have you checked out the Crosstrek? I respect Subaru, but was very disappointed in the Crosstrek. I love the shape of it, but the interior was BLAH.

I'm no longer unique, I saw another one driving into my neighborhood yesterday. But mine looks better. I made it eleven weeks without seeing another one being driven.(have seen them on a dealer lot).

Consumer Reports is still in existence? "Influential magazine"? It's too early for April Fools Day.. Driving the C-Max is a learning process. I've had my C-Max almost 3 months. A month ago I would have said that 47 city was a load of crap, but I've hit 50 several times over last two weeks. I'm learning how to drive the car. I've picked up a lot of good pointers on this forum. I haven't adjusted my interstate driving habits because it is a lot of fun to drive at higher speeds.

Can I vote for EACH problem? I've had mine for 9 weeks. I had a 7 day stretch where it seemed like my car was demon possessed. At one point I wanted to drive to the factory and leave with it a sign saying "Try Again!". But I think I'm over that hump and consider myself a happy C-Max owner.

I haven't check the manual for a possible resolution... But my Sony MFT comes on automatically. When I exit the car I stop whatever is being pumped through my iPhone and hit the power button. The display shows audio off. The next time I enter the car, the audio starts(90% of the time). It may be the radio..pandora..or music stored on my iPhone.. Not all of my music is family/kid friendly. On one occasion I was in the garage with my phone and key and music started coming from the car.. Any thoughts? Thanks

I recently stopped using ECO Cruise and started using the Empower display. I'm able to keep it in EV mode a whole lot longer. A forty mile trip today averaged 48.9.. I really didn't think it was possible..

I bought the Diono Ultra Mat Car Seat Mat for $22 at a local baby store called BuyBuyBaby. It hangs over the headrest and doesn't restrict side airbags. It's more or less temporary for me until more products are available. I will post a picture later..

Last weeks area auto show had one that was locked up.. No sign.. No info what so ever... I explained the car to several people looking at it. Lincoln had a sweet looking 2013 MKZ on display. The Lincoln rep mentioned it would also be available as a hybrid. I asked if it was the same engine as the C-Max.. She told me the C-Max was total Ford recently stated that the sale of small cars was eating into company profits.. Maybe there is a bigger profit margin on the Fusion.

After 2 months, I haven't seen that data displayed.

I gotta change my profile pic..but it doesn't like my C-Max pics.. I didn't want the sunroof either and we managed to negotiate most of it out of the price of the car...Sounds like our cars are twins(white).. Back to the sunroof... After two months of ownership, I've come to like the sunroof. It really makes the car seem so much bigger when it's used..

I was torn between an entry level model and the SEL.. For some people a car is just another appliance, for me it's my sanctuary. So I went for the extras...
