After many attempts were foiled by cold weather, I finally broke the 600 mile barrier. My wife has also gotten the knack for driving the hybrid like a hybrid and drove for a significant part of the tank.

The dealer called at 10:47 AM and said it was fixed, and that it was a bad purge valve. Thanks for the contact and follow up, Ashley. The RVP you mentioned did contact me and will be following up on Tuesday to see how the car is after driving it for a while.

Thank you! The dealer called this afternoon, said they were on the phone with engineering and were given another battery of tests to run that would go into tomorrow. I can't access the forum from work otherwise I'd have responded earlier.

I had the same issue at the end of December. After following the funnel procedure and waiting several driving cycles the check engine light came on. I took it to the dealer, and they worked on it. They reprogrammed the PCM and did a smoke test on the exhaust (at least I think that's what they called it) and found a faulty sensor. Said they ordered the part but Ford sent the wrong one and the PCM fix should solve it. Fast forward to about a week ago, the problem returned. After trying the funnel bit again to no avail, my wife ran it up to the dealer yesterday and we are awaiting their verdict/results. I do NOT like the Nissan Sentra loaner compared to the Cmax.

Traction control kicked in a couple of times for me today, most noticeably as we went up the hill to my house. Usually the tires will spin when there is snow on the ground and it is very slippery when the slope increases, but it just kept going steady. Even when I tried to fishtail a bit to see how i handled, it wouldn't.

Glad to hear you got your car back in great shape! I've been lurking here for a while, but I've had you in my prayers anonymously since the wreck. Your posts have helped me get more out of my own C-Max. I really hope your finger tingle issue resolves, as if that happened to me, it would drastically impact my bass and keyboard playing (I'm a musician and music teacher). Here's hoping the new year restores your "feather touch" with Maxine, and complete healing and a significant drop in your golf score!

I have one, purchased after riding in my friend's on several occasions (Both tuxedo black). I've seen a platinum white several times, and yesterday I saw a silver one. Quite a few for a town of 1,500 in rural northeast PA.

I bought my C-Max on June 18 and love it so far. I lurked for a couple of weeks before joining. So far I have 3,000 miles on it due to a family siuation which fortunately has been resolved positively. Lifetime MPG is 40.7 thus far, though I'm sure the 1.5 mile or less hops around town and the very hilly terrain of my area don't help that much.
