  1. For the small overlap (tough) test, the Hybrid CMax has slight intrusion into the foot-well area and the A pillar is slightly deformed, still acceptable. Now with the Energi model, (which they didn't test and stated that the test is Not Applicable to the Energi) , another 400lb added to the mass of the car may bend the A-pillar even more and may cause it from acceptable to poor.
  2. The ambient light should only work with the headlight turned on, i.e. at dusk/night if you have auto-headlights
  3. Probably the design. The relatively straight back end, while travelling, creates a vacuum and this sucks in the dust and dirt.
  4. I always think, to encourage drivers to use the 'efficient leaves', they should be posting a 'sexy picture' :censored: of a gender of the drivers choice. Say, the more efficient they drive, the more the picture reveal! The should put more drivers into driving eco-consciously.. (well, maybe more accidents )
  5. mlsstl: I am an owner of a Volvo S70 before and now driving a CMax Energi (thus the SEL package). Not much question that the Volvo seats are among the best. Comments that I can make on the CMax seats after 1 month of ownership: 1) Generally comfortable 2) Wish the seats can go higher, it still have head room to raise the seats 3) Wish the lumber support can be adjusted higher up my body (it is currently a bit too low for me) 4) Brake pedal position is strange. It is closer to you then you think I got spoiled by the Volvo Seats (for 14 years) and that's why I get picky. I am currently putting padding to the seats to adjust to my needs and now it is better So if I have to rate, if the Volvo seats are 10 (baseline), the CMax seats I give 8, VW Beetle (which I also own) I give 5, Honda Civic (which I am in once while) I give 6. My adjustable office chair maybe 11 :)
  6. I am living in the GTA area and my NGR arrived this past Tuesday and going to take delivery next week! Ordered in late Sept last year.. 6 months wait is finally over!
