Laurel, my wife and I are also retired, and we are going to become a 1-car couple soon. It's a little scary giving up a degree of mobility. It will require more planning and cooperation. It's worth it, though, since we can't justify 2 cars economically nor ecologically.

I ordered my C-Max SE in Oxford White on November 27. It was promised "after the first of the year", and "it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks". I ordered the basic vehicle, with no optional stuff at all.
