  1. Just back from the dealer for the last recall, while there, I had them check my Auto/climate controls, as no air is coming from the Dash out lets, seems the last update to the computer (mileage adjustment) changed the way the Climate delivers  the heat, when starting the car in the cool weather, all the air is going to the windshield, and out of the small port on top next to the side windows, and down to the floor.

To get the air to the dash, one has to push the buttons!  That's the way it is, and can not be changed back to the way it was when I purchased the car. The  mechanic  had a talk with me, and he called Ford directly, giving him the run down. If you turn the temperature down, to what I call cold, the air will come from the dash.  All this has something to do with the difference in Temperature from the outside and the temperature inside.

  2. My mileage did not go up much until the car hit 10000 now it is over 50mpg on any trip from 50 to 200 miles, my life time has gone from 38 to 41.3, everyday mpg avg is 44.4,  Interstate driving even with the new update to 85mph, is still in the mid 40's. Most of my trips are State local roads, at  50/60 mph. This is all C-Max computer info.

  3. Don't only rotate the tires, get the car lined up 4 wheel alignment, I knew but didn't do it for 8000, so now I have 'cupped' tires, (rear)

dumb me, I have never purchased a new car that did not need 4 wheel alignment, and this was one of them, now I have a lot of noise and it is a pain in the ear, but I'll wear them out before I buy new just to punish my self.

  4. 42.9 Interstate with the computer updated, @70mph, about a 3 mpg increase.  Most trips non interstate, 60mph or less I am now getting 50+.   mileage 13000 miles.

My everyday Avg is 44.2,  lifetime is 40.9

  5. Pictures really don't mean much, I can take a pix at 116 mpg, or 29 mpg 52,75 etc  it's all according where I'm driving up hill down hill, short or long trip.  On a 800 mile trip I got 40 mpg avg, on a 200 mile trip I got 51... my every day avg is 44,  life time avg 40.5.

I just know I am using less gas by far than my last auto.

  6. I tried to download the update, but it would not finish, after many tries, with 3 different Operating Systems, and browsers, so I got on the Chat window and the Techs gave me a phone number to get the USB with the 3.6 on it, the number is 800.392.4040. they will send you a USB to install. you will need your Vin # when you call.
