  1. I use Track Phones, a flip up and a Galaxy Android 4.0 both work fine. The Galaxy uses more of the features.
  2. I had a couple, hit them with the hand and it solved the problem!
  3. I feel like I should send the money back, the last trip was 50.3.... but I'll just go on feeling guilty. Like the guy says, it keeps getting better and better.
  4. Did it work, did you find one? I would like to change the front passenger seat to an all electric one, we find the SEL Passenger seat very uncomfortable, Ford should have included one.
  5. Ford was short minded on the visors, useless on the side windows.
  6. DrDiesel1, Last winter it worked the way I liked it, all automatic, but with the computer upgrades they have done away with the auto, now it is as you say, the temps inside and out will make the adjustments, and it also takes another extra mile to warm up so the heat will start on the window. I guess I'm getting too fussy in my old age!
  7. Just back from the dealer for the last recall, while there, I had them check my Auto/climate controls, as no air is coming from the Dash out lets, seems the last update to the computer (mileage adjustment) changed the way the Climate delivers the heat, when starting the car in the cool weather, all the air is going to the windshield, and out of the small port on top next to the side windows, and down to the floor. To get the air to the dash, one has to push the buttons! That's the way it is, and can not be changed back to the way it was when I purchased the car. The mechanic had a talk with me, and he called Ford directly, giving him the run down. If you turn the temperature down, to what I call cold, the air will come from the dash. All this has something to do with the difference in Temperature from the outside and the temperature inside.
  8. I think the warm of the summer sun did more for the mileage than the update.
  9. I got my $550..! I guess I should'a sent it back, seeings I'm get'en 47 or more on all my trips, :happy feet: wish the mileage would stay up in the wint'a..
  10. My mileage did not go up much until the car hit 10000 now it is over 50mpg on any trip from 50 to 200 miles, my life time has gone from 38 to 41.3, everyday mpg avg is 44.4, Interstate driving even with the new update to 85mph, is still in the mid 40's. Most of my trips are State local roads, at 50/60 mph. This is all C-Max computer info.
  11. Don't only rotate the tires, get the car lined up 4 wheel alignment, I knew but didn't do it for 8000, so now I have 'cupped' tires, (rear) dumb me, I have never purchased a new car that did not need 4 wheel alignment, and this was one of them, now I have a lot of noise and it is a pain in the ear, but I'll wear them out before I buy new just to punish my self.
  12. I enjoy having Sirius, and the Weather through Sirius which uses the Nav maps, the Weather cost 1.00 extra per month, and is not automatic with the Sirius subscription, I had to order it.
  13. I have not had any problems with Sync, or the MyTouch systems, I'm using 3.6 now, it's my Tracfone that will not work with Sync, works fine with MFT..
  14. 42.9 Interstate with the computer updated, @70mph, about a 3 mpg increase. Most trips non interstate, 60mph or less I am now getting 50+. mileage 13000 miles. My everyday Avg is 44.2, lifetime is 40.9
  15. Engineering read out, hold down the OK on the left side when starting, when you see a ET in the upper left window let go and push the down arrow.
  16. My mileage was all in the 30's until I reached 10k, then it blossomed, getting over 47 on most all trips now. and it's easier to do the light foot dance.
  17. I use the Nav in the right window instead of the leaves, it is the compass when not having the Nav in operation. It gives the time, distance, turns etc.
  18. The C-Max manual calls for 87 Octane, I wonder if the higher octane will cause any problems.. I use 87, and an additive for cleaning the top end from Amsoil every 5 tanks. PI performance improver
  19. With 60 years of marriage behind us, it's like this, Yes Dear, I'm Sorry, that's the only way to go! As far a cars, she has her's and I have the C-Max, never to two shall meet. How do I get back at her, just show her, her gas bill at the end of the month.
  20. Remember your engine is used approximately 2/3 of the mileage, as it is in EV the other third, so when the 10K light comes on, you have added 7500 miles to the engine, if you are using full synthetic oil you could go 20K and just change the filter at 10K. Being 'right-on-time' is not necessary it's only a reminder that you may need an oil change.
  21. Pictures really don't mean much, I can take a pix at 116 mpg, or 29 mpg 52,75 etc it's all according where I'm driving up hill down hill, short or long trip. On a 800 mile trip I got 40 mpg avg, on a 200 mile trip I got 51... my every day avg is 44, life time avg 40.5. I just know I am using less gas by far than my last auto.
  22. I tried to download the update, but it would not finish, after many tries, with 3 different Operating Systems, and browsers, so I got on the Chat window and the Techs gave me a phone number to get the USB with the 3.6 on it, the number is 800.392.4040. they will send you a USB to install. you will need your Vin # when you call.
  23. Sorry, but I don't have a complaint, I have 13000 on the C-Max, only problem, lift gate would not go up with doors locked, dealer fixed it in less than 10 min. getting great fuel mileage, all is well, all updates and recalls done, I might suggest if you are having dealer problem, find another Ford dealer, most all like to have warranty work.
