My husband is a die hard Ford fan. I have always been very frugal in regards to car purchases and have had great success in buying slightly used vehicles and driving them forever. The last being a 98 park avenue I drove for 12 years. So when I decided I was going to buy a new car he really wanted me to go with a ford product. That was not on my short list, I was thinking Rav 4 or Hyundai Santa Fe, and then I saw a C-Max at church, it had a FORD emblem on it, interesting. So I began my investigation and narrowed it down to the C-Max se model for the following reasons. 1.) Great design, the car is well thought out. What I need, where I need it and none of what I don't. 2.) I wanted something easy to park and kind of fun to drive for a change, I got that with the C-Max. 3.) Comfort and functionality come first to me, the exceptional mileage is a bonus, as is pleasing hubby by buying FORD. All of my shopping and decision making was done online. Car was located and purchased through the internet. When we went to pick it up the salesman asked if we wanted to take it for a drive, my Husband said, "it's a ford isn't it? So straight to the paper signing we went.
