@ Frank You might be right in all your equations and formulations....but the shark fin looks cooler. I have not noticed any perceptible difference in reception with my sharkfin antennae. As for drag, I get 300 avg mpg so if I lose a mile from the antennae I can afford it.

I haven't taken a pic of the back yet, but it's your standard type Fin Antennae - color matched of course. I can tell you reception is every bit as good as the factory antennae . Chrome is a style choice. I found the car to be a bit bland without something to make it pop. The chrome pillars are great. perhaps I went over the top with the door handles. But I like Sparky as is. :)

3 months ago I bought a 2014 CMax Energi which I named Sparky. Here's the pic The hood bug deflector is from Ford Accessories website. The chrome corner guard on lower fenders is available at any Pep Boys Chrome window pillars are from Juiced Hybrids dot com Door Ding guard and the Shark Fin Antenna are also from Juiced Hypbrids, they guarantee to color match. I added the chrome stripe to the door ding guard with chrome tape I got at Pep Boys. Mudflaps also from Juiced Hybrids The Chrome Door Handles are from Ebay. They are for the 2013 model and NOT compatable with the 2014 CMax model, but careful work with a Dremel and you can make them fit the slight difference in 2013/14 body style. Tan interior with custom neoprene seat covers. The only thing missing is the window deflectors. Inline installed ones are not yet available for the 2014 but should be soon. The only ones available I have found are exterior mounted and as it's a flexible rubber frame around the window I don't want to stick things to that. Inline or In-frame mounted looks better anyway.

I flip around based on mood. Usually this one. But if I'm more in a planetary conquest kind of bad mood from traffic I change to the Star Trek evil empire wallpaper Yeah.... I'm a Star Trek dork.

A CMax desert. I live in San Diego and in the 2 months I've had and loved my CMax {SPARKY} I have only seen two others. 1 is co-worker who bragged about his 48 mpg ... until he sat in min and saw my 347 mpg {I live close to work, never use gas}. The other was a random sighting, in Mission Valley, same color as my own. But Sparky looks cooler 'cause I added chrome window pillars, a color match door guards with chrome stripe and shark fin antenna. I can't imagine why this car isn't more popular than the Prius. I shopped both in CMax is far superior.

I went to my MyFordMobile page today and found out I've been wiped. No record at all. I tried to log on but is says No Vehicle Is Associagted to me. I tried to re-enter the VIN but the web site says it's not a valid VIN number. I've typed it 10 times... I know I got it correct!!! Has anyone else been deleted by My Ford Mobile? Has anyone figure out how to re-register their car? Am I the only one this happened to? I love my CMax energy. LOVE IT But Fords web presence seems to be a bit of a joke. I've gone to Ford Accessories web page and every item I click on is "BAD GATEWAY" error message. I ended up buying all the accessories elsewhere... and for less money I might add. So, back on topic. I really want the in-channel vent but I have a 2014 cmax and every site I've seen so far say there isn't one for that year..yet. Seems the 2013 and 2014 don't have the same window sizes. Anyone know of a place that does have a 2014 in-channel ventshade? Oh...just got my cmax last month and LOVING it.
