Strange, long wooooo sound at steady speeds, ICE on

We bought our Max in June last year. It made the loud wooo noise a few times in 80 degree weather. Right around the time we had the woo noises the car after sitting all day in a parking lot refused to start the fault was high temp warning on the high voltage battery system. The dealership adjusted something in the programming and I've never had either problem since. We just went through one of the harshest winters I've seen in upstate NY in alot of years. And neither me, or the wife, heard the noise. But we are getting slight to moderate vibrations at various low rpms. Which I'll be taking the car in to look at. The car only has about 7500 miles on it. -
Which makes perfect sense. Too bad I didn't think about it.

No, my wife didn't take a picture of it. I asked her to if it should happen again. Funny, the car hasn't requested to run a VHR . I used to get this with the Escape and Edge. I'll need to see if this is turned on.

The dealer could not find a reason. He said it was probably, "Just a one time glitch." Wonderful. I was going to use the Max on our vacation trip to Virginia Beach. Now, I don't know. I'm going to drive it to work the next couple of weeks and give it a work out. 80 miles a day. If it happens again I hope I get a better resolution.

My wife went out to go home for lunch yesterday and the car refused to start. It has a High Temp alarm on the display. The car was off for 5 hours and it was in the low 70's. She went out to meet the tow truck to get it taken to the dealership. She decided to try again and it started right up. It's in the shop now being looked at. Kind of frustrating for a car with less then 2000 miles on it.

Nice car! Mine gets a bath every weekend. Black is a pain. But so sharp when clean.
-
Got mine! 475.00!

Thanks, with only 1020 miles on the C-max it really stunk that I have to replace a tire. But, hey, what can you do?
-
I can use the check to buy a new tire. Got a chunk of metal through the side wall. Grrrrr!
-
I went to the Ford website and checked. I'm getting a check. Anytime between now and Sept.
-
Meh, I can live without the leaves.
-
Not really. I had that feature on the 2011 Edge we had. Not a big deal to me.
-
Maybe we'll see each other along the way. I work in Greece.

Saw two on 490 East just outside Rochester, NY, A white one and a Sterling Gray one, Sorry, I was going 70mph. Not a decent time to take pictures!
-
You would think. but no, I found that out.

I went from a 2011 Escape to the C-max. The cargo area on the Max is smaller. But it fits my needs. I really don't wish to add a roof rack on this car. I do have a CrossTrek that has a roof rack on it. So on extended vacation we'll use that for now. I went from a 2011 Edge to the Subaru, now that's a change in size!
-
About 250 miles on the car and I'm seeing around 45mpg. Far better then I would have expected on a car not even broken it yet. It makes my Subaru's 37mpg seem like highway robbery!

If I'm reading my window sticker correctly mine was built in March as well. Interesting. Maybe Ashley can assist?
-
It would have been nice if they did. Oh well, life goes on.
-
Thanks Ashley! If I have any questions or concerns I'll let you know.

Well, when I picked up my car yesterday I saw that I indeed have the A4 version on my navi. I asked to have it it upgraded for free because this is a brand new car and it should be fully up to date. They wouldn't go for it. That was what was up to date at the time of assembly and that's what you get. Oh, it was worth the try!
