Here one for the book. My wife came to her C-max 2013 after shopping, unlock the door, got in. nothing work, could not start the car, everything seem dead. however the tailgate work, the door lock work. She call me, I told her to place the FOB next to the steering Wheel, nothing. So I went to the car with My FOB, same thing, door locks works, tail gate work, nothing else. Call AAA, they came try to jump it, in case the battery was dead, nothing. So we had the car tow home. After AAA left I went to the car, and now all is good, everything is working. So my questions are: 1) What happen 2) Has this happen to anyone else? 3) Is there a way to start the car without the FOB 3) any options or suggest on what to do the next time. Thanks

It' really get me, "for the environmentally conscious". If you are about the world environment, you would NOT buy any car that has battery. These battery do more harm to the world environment than gas or diesel vehicle. I have the c-max because of cost, great car. However "for the environmentally conscious" they would drive be driving a "clean diesel" vehicle. These clean diesel vehicle gets better fuel mileage, and is good for the environment. Problem is that the politicians are in the pocket of big oil, therefore lying to us, and preventing Clean diesel become the norm. Last point, We have plenty of oil, and OIL is renewable! ! NASA prove this in 2005.

What make you think the dealer will tell you anything negitive. They are out to screw you over and over. The saleman told me that I would get 47mpg for both city and highway. He also said they were sell for XXXX, and there was an incenitive for XXXX. Two hours later the manager said this is the price, no incentive. I said by by. I figure I would get about 40, This is true in the warm weather, getting 37mpg in the 40's and short trips.
