mlsstl, I live in St. Louis too. The C-Max I bought was on the dealer's lot for 3+ months and even had hail damage. Clearly they weren't selling there. Another dealer I went to said they couldn't keep them on the lot because they were selling so fast. St. Louis is really strange when it comes to cars, and it really depends on where you go. :)

I went from a 2012 Explorer to a 2014 C-Max. When I asked about the higher insurance for the C-Max my insurance rep said that insurance companies often put a higher rate on smaller cars because statistically people have a higher chance of getting hurt in an accident in a smaller car.

Hey Everybody! This past Friday I traded in my 2012 Explorer Limited Ecoboost for a new black 2014 C-Max Hybrid SEL 303A and so far I'm very happy. I lurked these forum before my purchase to see how things were going for others, and was happy to see a pretty active community. I look forward to being a C-Max owner for a long time!
