I have the same problem and have brought in 3 times so far. No solution yet and am curious whether any others have had this and had resolution. Ours is also a 2016 with a 302A option. But, sometimes doing a quick unlock and repeat lock doesn't solve the problem. Ugh!

We've had our C-Max for a month and are in the 35mpg range. Disappointed but hoping that much is due to the cold weather here in Minnesota. We're certainly careful drivers- don't spin wheels much in icy Minnesota. The most I've been able to eke out was a 42 mpg stretch over 5 miles. Despite the less than advertised mpg love the ride!
