  1. As a final follow-up for my CMax which was having battery issues... After the dealership had the car for over a month trying to figure out the issue with Ford engineering, we were able to work out a buyback through Ford. This process took several more months as Ford outsources the customer service department for their buyback program to another outfit who was less than stellar to deal with. We now own a Prius V which starts reliably. Definitely miss the CMax power.
  2. Just to add to the common thread.. Our C-Max SE was purchased in mid October. I'm in the NorthEast, it is cold, but the car is garaged. I have had many battery failures, but only in the mornings after an overnight in the garage. After jumping it a few times and finding nothing wrong, the dealer replaced the battery with a brand new one, but that didn't help. The dealership has now kept the car for as about as much time as we have had it. I believe we are reaching lemon law territory, and we should find out how things will proceed tomorrow with the service manager. The dealership has been very good to work with, though it obviously is frustrating to have to spend the time on this.
  3. I'm really glad to have found this forum as my wife recently got the C-Max SE (key, not pushbutton start) and the battery has gone dead twice. While we thought the first dead battery situation was a fluke, we were carefully watching to make sure that nothing was plugged in, all doors closed, etc, and had the issue again.
