  1. I've found a taker here locally, so this offer had ended.
  2. Alright everyone. I'm tired of these seat covers sitting in my closet. I'll send them to anyone in this group if they can cover shipping. I'll send them the slowest/cheapest way possible. Let me know if interested.
  3. My 2013 C-Max takes an entire gallon of washer fluid when empty. My previous car, a Honda, never took a full jug, so it was quite the delight when I first witnessed the capacity of the reservoir.
  4. Thanks, Plus 3! Since it is out of warranty, I think I'll just sit back and see if it returns.
  5. My 2013 C-Max SEL with appx. 43,000 mi. on it just lit up its check engine light. Specifically, I had driven about 40 miles at highway speed and stopped to get gas. I filled up and when I restarted the car, the CEL illuminated. I ran my OBD2 reader on it and it showed "P060A" as the fault code. I continued to drive the car and the following day the CEL went off. It hasn't returned so far after another 100 miles or so. I understand that P060A means "Internal Control Module Monitoring Processor Performance" but beyond that I have no idea what this could be about. Any insight into what I should do would be appreciated. Worth taking it into the dealer now that the CEL is off? It is out of warranty at this point.
  6. Thought I'd provide an update. This problem has gone away on its own. I have done about 10 fill ups since I wrote this and it hasn't happened again. Fingers crossed the problem never returns.
  7. I drive a 2013 Hybrid SEL. I live in a place with very bad roads (New Orleans, LA) and even with the most careful driving, my car gets beat up quite a bit by the rough pavement and potholes. I've noticed that the mirror glass in my side view mirrors has become increasingly prone to shaking / vibrating while at highway speed. It isn't the entire housing -- it is just the glass. I have no idea how the glass is attached to the mirror. Is there a way to tighten them? Does anybody have a diagram on how to disassemble the mirror assembly so I can check it out?
  8. I have a 2013 C-Max Hybrid SEL that I bought used about 9 months ago. No major issues so far. This week, I've noticed that after filling up the tank completely, the fuel gauge shows only 3/4 full. I know for certain based on the number of gallons I put in the tank that it is full. As I use the first quarter of fuel, the gauge will ping pong back and forth between 3/4 and the actual fuel level. After the first quarter, it seems dead accurate again. Photo attached showing the gauge after a complete fill up. Any ideas on what might be causing this or how to fix it? Provided it only affects the top quarter of the tank, it is just an annoyance, but if it starts affecting the rest, I may one day find myself running out of gas on the side of the road.
  9. After trying many, many fuses, F86 is the one that worked for me (keyed power) in my 2013 Hybrid SEL. Thanks Darrelld!
  10. I had the same problem with the clock. It was fixed by having the Ford dealer update the Audio Control Module with the latest firmware as described here. Hope that helps!
  11. Har har har. I think it is the waterproof quality that people are after on these.
  12. FOR SALE -- $199 I bought a set of Wet Okole neoprene seat covers for the back seat of my C-Max with the intention of using them to keep my leather seats protected from my dog. Turns out my dog hates riding on the seats and much prefers them all folded down. Too bad I realized this after ordering the covers. They are completed unused. I put one cover on the 40 part of the 60/40 back seat but removed it immediately. They look great and feel very nice. Here is a photo from the Wet Okole website. The only difference is that my set does not have the grey piping. It has no piping at all. This is called their "standard" seat cover. I paid $299 for the set. I'll sell to a forum member for $199 including shipping in the continental USA. Let me know if anyone is interested. They're great covers but I don't need them and Wet Okole doesn't accept returns.
  13. The clock in my 2013 Hybrid SEL (w/ MFT) was losing time by about 5 mins a month. This SSM fixed that problem.
