  1. I can't say for sure about 13B12, but it was in the dealer for warranty work about a month ago.
  2. Our 2013 C-Max SE was dead again this morning. Last year, it happened at least 3 times. The dealer finally replaced the battery and it worked fine for about six months until this morning. From what I see in the forum, Ford has not solved the problem. No wonder C-Max sales are declining. It's a shame, because it's a great car, but it's too unreliable.
  3. Our 2013 C-Max SE was dead again this morning. It happened at least three times last year. The dealer installed a new battery and it worked fine for about six months until now. From the forum, it appears Ford still has not solved this problem. No wonder C-Max sales are declining. Although we love the car for the most part, this problem prevents us from recommending it to anyone else.
  4. Today our C-Max battery was dead for the second time. The first time, a few weeks ago, I started it with a battery charger (no jumper cable handy) and took it to the dealer. They kept it overnight for observation and of course found nothing wrong with the battery (although they did replace a defective stabilizer bar). The vehicle is too unreliable to take anywhere remote (like to our cabin) or on a trip. We're going to have roadside assistance come this time and we'll take it to the dealer, but not for another futile overnight observation. We're hoping they'll respond to the information on this forum and replace the harness or wiring.
  5. Salman, when I first connected my charger, there wasn't enough power for the car to start. The interior light flickered. That's why I waited the 5 minutes, to give the battery some time to charge. But after 5 minutes, everything worked normally. The main battery was fully charged, too, so there's definitely something weird with the way they use the 12v battery.
  6. Glad to find this forum. Our C-Max (SE) (3500 miles) was dead this morning. I used my battery charger to get it going. It was back to normal in 5 minutes, although it usually takes 20-30 minutes to charge a normal battery. This tells me there's some kind of switch involved, not a truly discharged battery.
  7. Add me to the list, too. Our C-Max battery was dead this morning. We drove it normally yesterday, got home around 8 pm. Then this morning it was completely dead. I hooked up a battery charger for about 5 minutes and then everything was back to normal. Usually it takes 15-20 minutes to charge a battery that's dead, which tells me there's some switching problem somewhere. We'll take it to the dealer later today.
