Let me know how I can help Robert...........in advance and/or day of.
I will be calling on you ;)
I have been working with Ford on events for a long time and actually, it's quite amazing that these "behind the scene" events can even be done. The moons and peoples' schedules have to align perfectly and that's not very easy to do.
Clearing schedules and getting access to facilites is a tough thing to do.

Quite frankly, the mobile version needs to be updated and from I've read, the software maker will be making big improvements to the next version.

Sorry to hear about your experience Laurel, if that was Galpin who owned that dealership, that guy would be out of there faster than a chuck from a bad stomach.....that is why my family stuck with Galpin Motor Company here in SoCal for all our car needs: the 3 Jaguars and now the CMax. They are attentive, extremely polite and courteous and they LISTEN to our problems with the vehicle.
I recently had a smart-alex service advisor who did not listen and suffice to say that that was noted by management and they had his boss on my case, and I am more than pleased with the end results. I expect this from Jaguar but Ford, being less of a premium brand, I did not expect but still received top notch service and they went above with a free loaner as well :)
We had 4 vehicles from Galpin, expect the 5th and more from them
Last time we had a thread on the service, Galpin came out on top as well but other owners :)
Galpin is a TOP rated Ford dealer and experiences like yours, which is not unique enforce why.

I've heard of these issues on the FordSYNCForum.com, but I never seen photos posted of it in action. Wow.

Certainly can't commit yet but last half of July is out - 1st grand-baby :baby: coming (a real one, not the car!).
School schedule doesn't matter to us. Labor day weekend?
Congrats on the baby!
Is Michigan the only place C-Max energi owners can gather? What about us in So. CA.?
It can always be rotated or more than one can occur - east coast / west coast. Having it here in Michigan offers us a lot of potential behind the scenes though.

It's well known that a lof of people purchase a Hybrid, hop in and drive it like a normal gasoline powered car without learning the nature of the Hybrid system. How many times have we all seen this on here and other sites too?
-
Did they catch the driver?
Didn't know what gap insurance was until I purchased my last car. Hope I never need it though.

My new CMAX will be arriving in the next week or two. Can't wait! Hope all goes well with it. It ought to beat the MPGs of my Dodge Ram 1500 that I'm currently driving. Looking forward to getting back into a Ford.
Welcome back to the Blue Oval family ;)

As we plan the C-MAX gathering here in Dearborn, MI - I am curious to learn if there was a gathering for Prius owners? I did some bing and googling and could only find one planned for 2013.
-
Please keep posting your dates and I am keeping track of them.

Welcome to the club!

There are a lot of former (and some current) Toyota Prius owners on this board. Be sure to search for more topics on this site as well.

A very warm reception in regard to a C-MAX gathering here in Dearborn. :) The next step is meeting the C-MAX team in two weeks to see how we can pull this all together and what we'll be able to do and see. Two weeks until the next meeting? :finger: I know that everyone wants dates ASAP and we're working toward that goal.
It would be helpful to better understand when you'd like to have this event so that we can also pass this info. along.

Nice find Laurel!!!!
I am going to pinch it and add it to this thread: Welcome to the website, some helpful videos for you & your new CMax
I'll get it pinned one day, when I know how to ;)
Fixed the problem.

See attached picture.
Mostly commuting, with city and some freeway driving, limited a/c use. Lifetime mileage is up to 42.3. I drivew with the traffic, but now pay mush more attention to ease off when a light changes or to accelerate more slowly if no one is following.
Was trying for the 600 mile club, but ran a little short. I am still very pleased with this mileage: 47.0!

RobertLane: At the risk of being indescrete. We don't know much about who owns and operates this forum. I did a "Google" on your name and came up with several articles like this.... http://www.internetlibrary.com/cases/lib_case141.cfm .
That may or may not be you and it certainly was a long time ago. However, before several of us plan a trip, I'd appreciate a personal reassurance that you are in "Ford's good graces" and that we are going to be welcomed by the Ford family.
Again, I'm not sharpshooting, just doing a bit of due dilligance. I'm really looking forward to the event!!
Sorry that I missed this post. Yes, we're in good graces with Ford and are working with them in regard to this event.

Dunno. When I click on the "View New Content" link, I see a lot of new posts/topics every day.

Talking to Ford tomorrow - I can't wait to get this event going forward! :happy feet:
