I don't know how to set up a poll on this forum but I would love to know how many people think the 1 setting is too hot on the heated seats

As a follow up, I got my car back from the dealer after complaining to the. Service manager. They said both front seats were within factory specs for the heaters. Does anyone else think the seats are too hot on setting 1, or do I have the world's most sensitive butt?

I have had a problem with the heated front seats, which are too hot for my comfort, even on a setting on 1. Asked my local dealership and was told that the heat level of the seats depended on how hot the temperature control was set for the overall interior. I have never heard of this before. Is it true or was I just lied to?

Was at the Masters today. On 18 when Scott came in the first time in regular play and again in the play off. A very vocal contingent of Aussies were there with the rest of us cold, drowned rats. Appreciated C Max's heate seats!

The clear Ford version C Max logo is fairly small. I can measure more precisely if you wish but doubt coverage old be an issue

Why is an Exit from an Interstate referred to as "a slight right turn"? Google map is more clear in the directions. A pity that a back up Navigation system is required for this vehicle! Come on Ford!

I have been very positive about my C Max and have not had a Nav issue in my town, but an out of town trip (to Asheville, NC) has exposed it's glaring weakness. Taking me down wrong streets, telling me to turn te wrong way onto a one way street, attempting to shorten a route by going down an exit ramp and then back on the interstate. The Nav system in my 2006 Lexus hybrid was so much better. Can not believe all the screw ups. Feel like getting a paper AAA trip tic. Can I get google map to take its place? Ford, please fix this!

Finally got around to having my Ford C Max rear bumper protector applied. Local Ford dealership referred me o a Sign & Screen printing business. This worked out well as it was applied perfectly and quickly while I watched, convincing me that I would not have done nearly that good of a job. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get a good picture to show off. Suffice it to say it looks good and does come down to he vertical part of the bumper. Should do the job.

KCmax, Glad this worked out well for you. You are a great person to comment on the break in period. Since you already have acquired hybrid driving skills, it will be interesting if your initial mpg in your new Cmax is the more like your old vehicle towards the beginning of its' short life or at the end of that time. Would appreciate your feedback in time

I am going to try using the same pump for a while to minimize that factor. Maybe just a bit compulsive

Great information on this thread. Will start to test my mileage manually on this tank. Has anyone seen the message going around Facebook supposedly from someone who works at a fuel wholesaler. He or she maintains that temperature of the ground tank, speed of the fill, and how much fuel is in the tank when you fill up all affect the actual amount of gas you get and, in the latter factor, use from your fill-up? I wonder if this is true and if so how much of a factor it could play in mileage.

Not to redirect this back to the original poster, but I did replicate his results. Don't understand why the ICE with what seems to be minimal Battery charging (but a nice, nearly full battery) improves mileage but I did pick up 1 - 2 mpg on last night's hwy trip.

Looks like the C Max held its' own in the wreck. Glad you are reasonably uninsured. Planning on another C Max if this one is totaled?
